This is an auction for a 1993 Range Rover Classic powered by a 3.9 EFI V8. The Classic bodywork has been replaced by a Traka kit which is produced by NCF Motors, England. The Traka bolts directly onto a Range Rover 100" chassis. It is lightweight and the roll cage is manufactured from 48mm BS1387 MSA approved tube.
CHASSIS : 1993 Range Rover 100" wheelbase. Front and rear overhangs removed. Chassis is perfect and has never been repaired. All suspension mounts remain standard Range Rover.
ENGINE : 3.9 EFI V8. 185 bhp at 4750rpm. 235lb/ft of torque at 2600rpm. Perfect working order. No oil loss or overheating. Excellent oil pressure. Just rebuilt with all gaskets and seals replaced. Heads slightly skimmed. New cam, hydraulic lifters, timing chain and sprockets. New valve springs. New plugs and leads. I have a very comprehensive service history for this vehicle.
SUSPENSION AND AXLES : Fully rebuilt front and rear axles. New, black Teflon coated front swivels, gaiter protected. New polybushings. 4 X new spring, 4 X new shocks. Even though the springs are standard height and loading, they give a slightly stiffer ride due to the dramatic weight reduction over a standard Range Rover.
BRAKES : Standard Range Rover. New discs all round. Rebuilt calipers with new seals and stainless steel pistons. New pads. Stainless Goodridge hoses. New brake lines. New master cylinder and servo.
WHEELS/TYRES :BF Goodrich All Terrains 33X12.5 R15. Spare is new with 13.5 mm of tread, the rest showing 11mm. Black, steel modular rims.
GEARBOX : Permanent 4WD with limited slip differential. 4 speed ZF Auto. High and low ratio. Completely standard and free from any defects. All seals and gaskets replaced. New transfer chain. New filter and fluids.
STEERING : LHD and power assisted. I converted it from RHD, a relatively simple job thanks to Land Rovers construction. Light and precise at all road speeds.
FUEL SYSTEM : Two new 15 gallon Fuel cells. New high pressure fuel pump. All new fuel lines, filter and 8 fully reconditioned, flow matched Bosch injectors.
QUESTIONS : I have owned this vehicle since 2006 and imported it into Canada form the UK in 2008. Vehicle is registered and on the road in B.C. Due to the bodywork change I had a Structural Intergrity report which includes a steering alignment report. It also had to ass a safety inspection which covers lighting, seat belts, brakes etc. Vehicle is located at V1E 0B2 B.C. Canada and I welcome any inspection or test drive. If you are serious about this vehicle you must do your own homework. I will help with all shipping, collection and delivery instructions. It might look like a child's toy but it is a large and powerful vehicle. Please see last two photos next to a four door Jeep for scale purposes.
